Lectures/Workshop

  • 10:30 – 11:30 Peter Mrhar – CIANOTIPIJA: Tehnike stare in alternativne fotografije.

Cyanotype is truly refreshing among the variety of books on historical and alternative photographic processes, since the author presents some old and almost forgotten techniques that are not seen in any recent book, and reveals newer methods, such as production of bi-color cyanotype, double exposure techniques, etc…

At the beginning, we learn how to make chemicals, how to choose right paper, how to make digital negatives, how to expose the image, how to coat the paper with emulsion, and the like. In the following chapters are a large number of popular and some almost forgotten techniques of a simple one- and two-color toning of cyanotype, descriptions of making photograms, and a bit more challenging chapters of cyanotype printing on glass, stone and fabrics.

The book does not lack practical examples of cyanotype for creating business cards, postcards, printed T-shirts and the like.

My name is Uroš. I am a sports Photographer, based in Slovenia. I have been attracted to action sports since I remember. Maybe that has to do something with my fathers passion for building surfboards. He taught me how to windsurf when I was tall enough to hold the sail. We spent long vacations on Croatian cost, siting on the beaches waiting for the wind. I can still remember the feeling in my stomach when I saw flags getting nervous in the wind. Soon after I had found out how much fun windsurfing could be, I discovered snowboarding, than after a while I fell into the BMX world. Somewhere in this mixture of windsurfing, snowboarding and riding BMX I developed love for action photography. Camera was always in my backpack when I went on riding BMX. Then came the time, one day I went to the skate park and I didn’t ride, I was just taking photos. I can still see the looks on my friends faces asking me: “Why the hell aren’t you riding!?”, but I didn’t respond to their words, I was just shooting thous shoots aways. I don’t know how exactly it came to be, maybe Transworld magazines had something to do with it, maybe my priorities have changed, I really don’t know. The only thing I know is that, like all the people in the world who just want to fly with their bikes, boards, surfs, parachutes or whatever they want to fly with, I want to take photos of what they’re doing with passion and showing it to the rest of the world.

Jure Kravanja, univ.dipl.ped. in soc., fotograf
Matej Peljhan, univ.dipl.psih., spec.klin.psih., fotograf
Anita Zelić, uni.dipl.soc.del., fotografinja

  •  15:00 – 17:00 Delavnica – Anja Korenč Creative“Osnove programa Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.”
